What is the difference between ADSL and ADSL2+?

Due to upgrades by BT at local exchanges, it is now possible for internet service providers to be able to offer broadband with speeds up to 24Mb and upload speeds being improved to around 1.5Mb. As always, the speeds you can actually receive is all dependent on how far you are from your local exchange.
Some customers have informed us that they have seen their broadband double in speed.
Currently, BT are still working on enabling ADSL2+ service to the whole of the UK. We advise customers to use our Broadband Availability checker, to see if your exchange has been activated, before placing an order for ADSL2+.
If you are unable to order ADSL2+ at the moment, why not order a normal ADSL package and then switch to one of our ADSL2+ packages at a later time?

Off-peak usage

Unlike our home broadband, our business broadband “off-peak” time starts at 8PM every weekday evening. So you can enjoy totally unlimited broadband between 8PM and 8AM Monday to Friday. All day Saturday and Sunday is classed as off-peak and will not be deducted from your monthly allowance.

Optional Extras
The additional services listed below are available on both Business and Family packages.

Enhanced Care provides a reduced clear time of 20 hours in the event of a fault, with Openreach engineers available 24/7. Standard Care provides a clear time of 40 hours.

Elevated Best Efforts (EBE) is only available on WBC based connections and is included with all Business packages, where available. EBE guarantees a minimum throughput of 3Mbps over the BT network subject to line sync rate. This minimum level of service is guaranteed for 90% of the time over the busiest 3 hour period. Where available, Family package customers can add EBE for an additional monthly fee.

Annex M enables the customer to increase their upload speed by trading some of their download speed. Annex M also guarantees an upstream throughput of 85% of the upstream sync rate between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding UK public and bank holidays.

Enhanced Care – £12.50 per month
Elevated Best Efforts – £5.00 per month
Annex M – £8.50 per month

You will be given the option to add these to your account when you go through the ordering process.

All prices exclude VAT. The current rate of 20% will be added to cost of the package.
